Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Waypoint as a participant or organizer. They work together with our privacy policy.
The service
Waypoint provides self-facilitated outdoor challenge races: you create or join a race with your team, complete GPS-placed challenges, and finish at a shared finale. One team can play for fun; add more teams for head-to-head competition. Challenge content is generated on our servers.
By using Waypoint you agree to these terms and our privacy policy.
Who can use it
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Organizers booking Event or Corporate races confirm they have authority to invite participants and share any required notices with their teams.
Organizer accounts
Event and Corporate tiers require a master account with two-factor authentication. Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Payment
Pro and Event tiers may require payment before your race opens. Prices shown at checkout apply. Stripe processes card payments; we do not store full card numbers.
During a race
Races take place in public outdoor spaces. Follow local laws, respect property, and use your judgment about weather, traffic, and personal safety.
Waypoint does not provide live marshals or medical support. Organizers are responsible for briefing their teams.
Limitation of liability
Waypoint is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by applicable law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
Participants join races at their own judgment. Organizers and participants are responsible for their conduct in public space, including road safety, trespass, and interaction with third parties.
Support
Email mantas.marcinkus.bio@gmail.com for help with a race. For booked Event races we aim to respond within the event window.
Content and branding
Waypoint owns the product, challenge templates, and brand assets. Photos you submit remain yours; you grant us a licence to display them in race results, wrap-up, and recaps for that event.
Ending use
We may suspend access for abuse or legal reasons. You may stop using Waypoint at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (liability limits, licence for photos already displayed) continue to apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Vilnius have non-exclusive jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
